It's cheap, super-simple to make, and it makes a WAGONLOAD of little crackers. My nieces & nephews LOVE them. Unfortunately, It's at home, and I'm at work, but if you're interested, let me know, and I'll send it to you tonight. posted by: jennjr (reply) post date: 08.22.05 (12:19 pm) Hi again! Here's the recipe: 2 - 12 oz. bags of oyster crackers 1 pkg dry ranch dressing 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp dill seed 1 cup salad oil Mix together. Let stand at least one hour before serving. That's it. posted by: DayTripper7 (reply) post date: 08.22.05 (12:55 pm) You could always make dirt? I'm sure you know the recipe... a bag of crushed oreos, a couple boxes of chocolate pudding, and a bag of gummy worms, in disposable cups. posted by: Orange (reply) post date: 08.23.05 (8:04 am) How about that pizza dip I've had recently? A layer of cream cheese in a 9x13 pan, topped with pizza sauce, topped with shredded mozzarella. Heat to melt the cheese. Serve with crackers (large round ones are cute and pizza-like) and wonder why every pizza doesn't come with a layer of delicious cream cheese. posted by: JT (reply) post date: 08.23.05 (9:03 am) Reply to: Orange I love the idea but I don't think it can withstand the heat. However, I'm definitely going to do it for a home party. posted by: suzoates (reply) post date: 08.23.05 (6:50 pm) Reply to: jennjr I bet I have the same one and they are delish! posted by: suzoates (reply) post date: 08.23.05 (6:50 pm) Reply to: jennjr Yep! Same one :) :) posted by: suzoates (reply) post date: 08.23.05 (6:53 pm) A good one for kids would be little wraps made out of tortillas. take a large tortilla shell, spread cream cheese over it, put in ham, thinly sliced green or red pepper, or pickles then roll it up tight and cut it up like sushi. the kids love em and they are soooooo easy. Basically make it up as you go and put whatever you want in them. posted by: jennjr (reply) post date: 08.24.05 (5:33 am) Reply to: suzoates I love them. They're so super easy to make, and everyone likes them. My three year old nephew literally shovels handfuls into his mouth. I've never seen anything like it! |
