CFM Corp. Recalls Sequoia Wood Burning Fireplaces for Fire Hazard

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Name of Product: Sequoia Wood Burning Fireplaces
Units: About 1,300
Manufacturer: CFM Corp. of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Hazard: Due to insufficient insulation or a missing weld, some of these fireplaces could pose a fire hazard.

Obviously you've never burned yourself in a fireplace. Those things are HOT! And to think they could even be HOTTER! I say we recall every cook stove in the home too... especially those gas ones... they have open flames on the top!

Four sentences.... THREE exclamation points. Man, I meant it! (Four)

I totally agree. I like this one even better than the recall on the menorahs that were catching fire when all nine candles were lit. Obviously, they had no Jewish QAs.
