LOL! "Broccoli is Stupid" posted by: Orange (reply) post date: 04.26.05 (6:15 am) The kid is right. Broccoli sucks. It's amazing how kids will wolf down overcooked, soggy vegetables at school and ask for seconds, isn't it? Peer pressure. posted by: Alaric (reply) post date: 04.26.05 (6:23 am) Broccoli is a work of evil, so I have to agree. I eat it anyway, but that is not the point. However, my husband took Jake to see the Cubs play last night, and came home thrilled to report that his son manfully bore the cold winds off the lake, polished off two hot dogs, and thoroughly enjoyed cheering our team on. I guess it is inevitable to be proud of your children to some degree, assuming you care at all for them. Even through all of the things they may do wrong in their lives, you are proud to have raised them. posted by: JT (reply) post date: 04.26.05 (8:31 am) Reply to: Orange Well, boiled broccoli sucks. I never mind it steamed, myself. Especially if you douse it with butter and parmesan.... Damn it. Now I'm hungry. |
