posted by: almsthvn (reply) post date: 05.29.05 (6:30 pm) hmmm. suddenly my desire to see it has dropped significantly. Do we see Ewan's chest at any point?! Thats the main question. Or were you too put off by the moles? posted by: themarina (reply) post date: 05.30.05 (8:43 am) i wouldn't appologise. I wasn't all that impressed either though it was good fun to watch. That's about it. No major awards for this one. And yes, the acting really was all that bad. posted by: Beyourself (reply) post date: 05.30.05 (11:48 am) Thanks for the critical review. I gather I should not break my leg and line up to see this epic, eh? Frankly, I did not line up to see the last two epistles neither. The last one I saw, Harrison Ford was still Hans Solo. ;-) posted by: JT (reply) post date: 05.30.05 (2:48 pm) Reply to: almsthvn NO naked Ewan McGregor. See, there's definitely less reason to see it. Did you see him in Down With Love? Mmmmm.... posted by: JT (reply) post date: 05.30.05 (3:01 pm) Reply to: themarina Yeah, you really did hit it on the head. DH liked it better than I did, but I think most guys respond more to all the battle stuff than women, or at least I, do. posted by: JT (reply) post date: 05.30.05 (3:02 pm) Reply to: Beyourself If you didn't bother with the last two, there might be some stuff that won't make sense in this one. However, I think everyone agrees that the first three really were something special. You might want, someday, to get some friends together and watch the most recent three. With lots of lubrication so you can enjoy it more... They're not THAT bad. At least the story is really good. posted by: Beyourself (reply) post date: 05.30.05 (3:43 pm) Reply to: JT Hmmm... lubrication? I regret to state for the record I am way past the age of lubrication! Elibriation perhaps? Once or twice, I was plastered to the ceiling. |
